IRIS Community Living offers 24 hour support in homes for people with physical and intellectual disabilities.  IRIS Community Living works in partnership with people, their families and the local community to support them to live a regular life.

You will be responsible for supporting our clients in tasks of personal care and home management in accordance with individualised client needs and person centred plans.   These person centred plans will outline our clients hopes and dreams, and a plan to get there!  You will need to have a passion for supporting people and a high level of energy.  

You will have a Level 2 or 3 NZQA (or equivalent) qualification, a good knowledge and understanding of how a health concern or disability can affect a person.  Experience working in a support service is preferred and you will have a good command of the English language.  Specific requirements:  Manual handling, bowel and bladder care and the ability to drive a manual vehicle (with a full, clean license).  Training will be provided.
