We have an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join our Open Pit Mining Team at Macraes Operation. Reporting to the Mine Maintenance Superintendent, this role will be focused on maintaining effective working relationships with our Alliance Contractors and ensuring adherence to contractual requirements.
The primary objectives for this role include;
- The development of a maintenance and budgeting system utilising current company software for site based mobile earthmoving fleet
- Ensuring all mobile and fixed-plant mining equipment and machinery is maintained according to schedules.
- Performing RCAs (Report Cause Analysis) on significant failures, reporting findings and following through on remedial actions identified.
- Monitoring equipment availability
- Assisting with audits, inspections and meetings in regards to Health and Safety and Contamination controls.
This is a great opportunity for a Graduate Engineer who has well developed computer skills, and confidence to establish and maintain internal maintenance systems. Experience working with maintenance computerised systems would be highly regarded, but not essential.
